Bishop criticises gay community

From the article;

He added that there was a “huge and well-orchestrated conspiracy” taking place, which the Catholic community had missed.

What do they mean conspiracy? The evil gay over lords are conspiring to turn them all into raging homosexuals? Please. They should realize that it’s not something they can control, and if their God is the one who put us all here then he put them here too, as gays.

Calum Irving, the director of Stonewall Scotland, which promotes equality and justice for gay people, said Bishop Devine’s comments were delusional and offensive.

“delusional,” what do you expect from a guy that thinks God is real?

“Fortunately most Scots and many Christians do believe in equality, dignity and respect and reject the very dark and cynical view of Scotland the bishop seeks to portray.”

I guess some people are still living under a rock in the dark ages. I’m lookin’ at you Mr. Bishop of Motherwell!

What happens when you die?

Although no one can no for certain what happens when you die what do you think happens when we pass?

I believe when we die, we cease to exist completely, no heavenly paradise, no promise of virgins, no nirvana, no hell. We just die and everything goes black.

The thing I find awesome about being an atheist is that you don’t have to worry about pleasing god or gods and going to hell. But Christians are damned anyways, the bible states that no ones ascends to heaven so they’re doing everything for nothing.

“And no man has ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man [Christ]” (John 3:13).

So, back to the question. What do you think happens when we die?

What makes you so sure there is a God?

This is to the believers who read my blog, if any.

If indeed God existed don’t you think he would at least let everyone know? There’s already a bible saying he exists, so why now is he hiding from everyone? Is he ashamed of the world he “created?” It only takes a quick visit and everyone would have no choice but to believe. It wouldn’t take much on his part, but no, he decides to stay away.

There is no hard evidence that he exists, but there is evidence of evolution. Wouldn’t you think that is more rational than some magician in the sky who created this huge earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th?

If you believe in God then you must believe in pixies, right? I hope so. There’s no evidence that they’re around, just like God. Maybe if someone wrote a big book about them being the creators of the earth and got some people to preach it people would start believing in invisible pixies also?

You guys have been brainwashed, why can’t you think on your own, use your own head instead of getting sucked into the most popular fiction novel? The bible.
